BASKA STATISTICAL LEAGUE LEADERS

This season the BASKA League will be tracking intriguing scoring stats in both katas and point sparring. Check out how you rank by clicking on 'Stats' in the Competitor Tab.
All season long we will be tracking the Average Point Per Match (APM) for sparring fighters and the Average Kata Score (AKS) for kata competitors.
Before each event you can see if you are League Leader in any one of the two major statistical categories being tracked by the BASKA League.

The Bay Area Sport Karate Association is proud to announce an unprecedented new concept that will grip the sport karate industry...the naming of a First Team and Second Team All-Star cast of Sport Karate Athletes!
Throughout the 2009 season the BASKA league will introduce an interactive way for fans to choose their favorite kata and sparring athletes as an All-Star performer. Fans can choose to vote via ballots that are passed out to spectators and competitors at each BASKA event. Or they may choose to vote online at www.baskaonline.com.
The voting process will also fall into the hands of respected Black Belt coaches/instructors. This way, the final determination of which players are given All-Star status will fall half into the hands of the fans and half into the hands of Coaches/Instructors.
